Journey Dance Journey offers a variety of classes in Creative Movement, Jazz, Hip-Hop Ballet, Modern , Salsa, African and Tap. All of our classes are structure with a unique technical curriculum. We train using the Cechetti Method as our foundation. Our curriculum will allow dancers to be proficient in terminology, movement and performance. Students will have age appropriate workshops that include hygiene, etiquette, performance training and more. Dancers will have a chance to grow from beginner to pre-professional to professional dancer. Journey Drama Journey offers basic theatre classes that give student a foundation in character development, improvisation, script reading and writing, stage direction, costuming, character building, technical theater, directing and arts administration. This program is a introduction of what it takes to bring a production to life. Journey Music Journey offers private one on one piano, guitar, and vocal lessons. Lessons are structure based on individual level and desired outcomes. This program is designed to meet the need of students seeking an introduction to music or performance growth. Journey Outreach / Inreach Journey Outreach strives to bring our performances, workshops and classes to schools and community organizations. Our outreach focuses on area that would not normally benefit from extracurricular arts programming. Our inreach programs focus on artist education. Journey After School The mission of Journey After School is to be an extension of students normal school day by providing academic enrichment, homework help and performing arts education. |
