Dance
Students will learn basic ballet and jazz technique with a fusion of hip-hop style. Classes will consist of a basic warm- up, barre, technique, choreography, stretch and cool down. Classes begin with warm up and stretch which includes isolations that warm up each individual body part and stretches the muscles to increase flexibility. Warm up and stretch are followed by 15 min of basic technique which includes short exciting combinations across the dance floor. Students will then engage in choreography that will build from day to day. Finally, classes end with a review of terminology and cool down. Students will receive dance terminology and review sheets for use at home. Students will perform choreography at Parent Open Hous.

Drama
Students learn a variety of theatre techniques, including improvisation, character building, tableaux, and pantomime, through various exercises and theatre games. The students will collaborate and work together as an ensemble, using the techniques learned in class, to create a cumulative group presentation. Student will receive practice materials. Students will perform dramatic presentation at Parent Open house

Art
Students will be introduced to a variety of art concepts that include Still Life, Portraits, and Abstract Art. Students will learn and have access to basic art tools and terms used to create a work of art. Students will have daily small project that includes painting and arts and crafts and will complete a large final project that will be showcased at the Parent Open House.

Creative Writing
Students will be introduced to a variety of creative writing elements that include poetry, haikus, narratives, and short stories. Students will learn different writing techniques and will be introduced to writing samples from world-renowned authors as well as other children. Students will have a daily journal and a writing project that will be presented at the Parent Open house.

Music
Students will be introduced to the five basic elements of music: Rhythm, Harmony, Tone Color, Tempo, and Tone/Pitch. Each element will be broken down into lesson and activities to create an understanding for music as a performing art. As part of the activities students will be able to create instruments such as hand drums for rhythm, and straw saxophones for help with tone and pitch.
Each week has a unique theme and all of the art forms are showcased together in a performance each Friday.

Camp Weeks
Camp Weeks are 5 days . You must register for an entire week . Week 1 represents a Four day week due to holiday . Tuition for week 1 will be prorated based on tuition rate

Camp Details
• Registration fee and 50% of tuition is due at the time of enrollment to complete enrollment and hold spot in desired camp week . (EXAMPLE if you enroll in 3 weeks of camp before April 15 $127.5 tuition plus $20 reg fee is due immediately, the remaining weekly balance is due the wed before your child’s scheduled week . In this case you would owe $42.5 each wed prior to the week attended for 3 weeks )

• Tuition is non- refundable regardless of attendance * Free Breakfast and lunch is included

• Weekly Balance is due on Wed before desired camp week(s)

• Regular Camp Day 8 am- 3 pm Free Extended care 7:00am- 6:30pm

• Staff is First Aid and CPR Certified

• Children must wear comfortable clothing that they can move in

• Field trips , such as trips to the park, swimming and movies will be scheduled throughout the summer, admission fees will be the responsibility of the parents. Permission Slips are given out for each field trip.

• There are new projects each week. It is okay to enroll students for multiple weeks
