The purpose of the Stepping Stone Scholarship Program give deserving students an opportunity to
experience the arts by providing them with the resources to participate in Journey Performing Arts
Center’s Program

As a sponsor, you are able to directly impact the life of a child in the Metro- Atlanta community by
providing scholarships to children in need. It has been proven that children that participate in extra-
curricular activities specifically the arts excel academically and socially. Sponsorship provides children
with the financial resources to participate in a semester of the arts at Journey Performing Arts Center.
You will be given information on the particular child that you are able to help. Our Open House and
Scholarship receptions will give you an opportunity to meet your young artist You will also be invited to
the Performance that culminates their semester of dance, drama or music education

Scholarship Recipients
Scholarship Application are review by JPAC
board of directors and are given based on
financial need and potential
The Following Criteria must be met:
- Parents must attend Welcome Parent
Workshop
- Students will be required to attend 85% of
classes
- Students must participate in Final Concert
- Parents must pay any requires fees that
are not covered by scholarship by the due
date
